1. Who We Are

SnapBilt is a productized web service for UK contractors. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is kept and what rights you have.

2. Information We Collect

  • When you request a demo: the form on this site asks for your business name and a phone or WhatsApp number, and optionally an email address and a Checkatrade or Google profile link. We also store the page you sent it from, the time, and the exact consent sentence you agreed to.
  • When you message us: whatever you choose to send by email or WhatsApp.
  • When you become a client: the business information we need to build your site (reviews, project photos and contact details, with your permission) and the details needed to invoice you.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and it loads nothing from third-party servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To reply to your demo request and build your demo site.
  • To send project updates (by email or WhatsApp).
  • To process payments and issue invoices.

We will NEVER sell your data to third parties.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

This website and the details you send through it are hosted on servers in Germany (EU), operated by Hetzner Online GmbH. Our email is handled by Zoho Mail on servers in the EU. All connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS).

We keep a demo request only as long as we need it to respond and follow up with you; client records are kept for as long as UK law requires.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services; each has its own privacy policy:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH: hosting of this website and its data (Germany).
  • Zoho Mail: our email (EU).
  • Stripe: payment processing for clients.
  • WhatsApp: only if you choose to contact us there (end-to-end encrypted).
  • Checkatrade/Google: we import publicly available reviews of your business, with your consent.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights: only if you use the speed test on our home page — it opens Google's own site with the address you entered.

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data.
  • Correction: Update incorrect information.
  • Deletion: Request we delete your data (unless legally required to keep it).
  • Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Complaint: Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we have handled your data wrongly.

7. Cookies

This website sets one cookie: a security cookie (fc_csrf) that protects the forms on the site from forged submissions. It is strictly necessary, holds no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
